Grey granite is the one that matches everything
The least fashionable choice on the list, and the one that dates the slowest.

Grey granite takes its colour from feldspar and quartz, and runs from a light silver through to a dark charcoal. It is durable, weathers well outdoors, and — the part that matters on a long project — it sits under almost any palette without argument.
That makes it the usual answer for commercial flooring and for any scheme where the stone is the background rather than the subject. It also means a client changing the joinery colour two years later does not have to change the floor.
Labrador Antique, Silver Cloud and Steel Grey are the names to look for internationally; River Grey is the equivalent we cut here.
