About us

We sell the stone we cut, from the plant we run.

Shreeji Brij Granito supplies Indian granite, marble and sandstone to buyers abroad. Blocks are selected at the quarry, sawn and finished at our plant in Ajoliya Ka Kheda, Chittorgarh, photographed for approval, then packed and containerised. Nothing in the catalogue is brokered on from someone else’s yard.

How an order runs

Five stages, and one of them is where you get to say no.

The approval step exists because stone varies. Two slabs of the same named material can look materially different, and the time to find that out is before the container is loaded.

  1. 01

    Selection at the quarry

Blocks are chosen at the quarry, not bought sight-unseen from a yard. Colour and grain are set at this stage and cannot be corrected later.

  2. 02

    Sawing

Blocks are sawn to gauge on our own line. Book-matched pairs are planned here, before the block is opened, because the opportunity does not come back.

  3. 03

    Finishing

Polished, honed, leathered or flamed to the specification. Thickness held to 16 / 18 / 20 / 30 mm.

  4. 04

    Photography and approval

Finished slabs are photographed and sent for approval before anything is cut to size. You see the actual stone, not a sample of the type.

  5. 05

    Packing and export

Edge-protected, crated and containerised for sea freight, with the packing list matched to the approved slab photographs.
